Apostate Evangelists & Teachers

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2nd Corinthians 11:13-14

How to Use “The Secret” (GoodKarma) with Joel Osteen’s book, Your Best Life Now

The GoodKarma site is INFORMATION ONLY. “The Secret” cannot be christianized” and Joel Osteen’s book is NOT a Christian book.

Osteen doesn’t preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and his book is devoid of the same thing. It is sad, but true. Just the very fact that one can use his book to implement the laws of attraction is very telling. Would one be able to use the Bible for the same purpose?

In Christian circles, Osteen’s teachings are considered “cotton-candy”. Basically he teaches the same thing as The Secret – that we can all be happy by thinking happy thoughts and applying ourselves (action, according to James Arthur Ray).

Osteen has good intentions, endevouring to inspire and uplift his readers, but you can’t extract even a glimpse of the gospel of Jesus Christ from his book. It is becoming more and more apparent that Jesus is the dividing line between real Christians and those who believe in “God”. There is a scripture in 1st John 4 that says: “Hereby you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.” “Jesus Christ is come in the flesh” means He is God-Incarnate, The Word made flesh (The Gospel of John Chap. 1), because Jesus is God, the 2nd person of the Godhead. Anyone who can’t or won’t declare (confess) Jesus Christ, that person is NOT OF GOD and his/her teachings must be avoided.

What you can experience with Osteen’s methods is New Age spirituality, a spirituality that does not need either the Bible or Jesus Christ as a foundational base. So if you choose to use The Secret and Joel Osteen’s book together then, yes, they are very similar and compatible. Only please don’t confuse it with Christianity because Christianity is just the opposite, unfortunately for Mr. Osteen.
